This Pansy Terracotta Cachepot (pot without a hole designed to hold another plant pot) was inspired by my love for traditional English gardens and vintage seed packets.
This range of new vessels were designed after discovering the slipware vessels made in England in the late 17th century. They were mostly terracotta vessels with a dark slip dotted with white slip. I fell in love the with the detail and the lettering which also, in a modern way, has overtones of Hollywood marque lighting.
This pot is 23cm wide x 14.5cm deep x 18cm high
